Over time and with use, this leather item is designed to become softer and more supple. Due to the natural nature of the leather it will patina beautifully with age and like us, gain charming characteristics! ;) When not in use, keep me in my pouch provided.
Take care when using this product with light coloured clothing as there can be some colour transference from the leather.
Regular Care
Protect from direct sunlight, heating source, rain and abrasive surfaces. Wipe with leather conditioner when needed (preferably 2-3 times a year) to prevent leather drying out. We recommend a natural beeswax leather cleaner (eg Stirling & Truffles x Windy Acres Natural Bees Wax Leather Conditioner) using a clean soft cloth, first test on an inconspicuous spot, then using a circular motion apply to item
Do not rub or scrub
Do not use shoe polish, saddle soap or unidentified leather cleaners
Do not wet leather
Beware of pens as it is impossible to remove the ink.
Please follow these few simple steps for a lifetime of experiences with your leather purchase!
Lifetime warranty is offered for the lifetime of the original purchaser when care instructions are followed, with the exception of Dog related items, which receive a 1 year warranty.
In Collaboration with Windy Acres Lavender Farm and from our very own Bee Hive we bring you a natural bees wax leather conditioner.
Handmade with all natural Australian ingredients this conditioner will keep your leather pieces supple for years to come.
Refer to packaging for instructions for use.
Handwash only.
Before first use, wash in warm soapy water, and use a lemon/vinegar and salt solution thereafter.
Our copper bottles are intended primarily for the storage of water. We do not recommend using them to store any hot liquids, food or milk products.
Due to the nature of copper, natural tarnishing will occur over time and with use. This naturally occurring patina of copper, like our leather products only adds to its character and beauty!
If you wish to polish and shine your copper, follow these 5 simple steps:
1. Take half a lemon
2. Add a pinch of salt - sounds like tequila is going to be the next step! :) Alas, step 3 is hangover free.
3. Gently rub surface of copper with lemon and salt
4. Rinse with warm water
5. Polish for a sparkle and shine with a soft cloth
Metal cleaning agents can also be used, however this stunning metal is soft and can be easily scratched. Never use abrasive pads when cleaning as this will scratch the surface of the copper.
Keep it simple and natural!
If you find your bottle lid getting a little squeaky, you can grease it with a small amount of natural oil, olive or coconut. Always try to screw lid on gently to prevent it from leaking or becoming jarred.
Do not place in microwave, dishwasher oven or freezer.
Recommend intermittent use only.
Copper is a recyclable product at the end of its life.
